Why FolderFetch
Choose a scan depth so FolderFetch can inspect eligible linked pages inside the scope you selected.
Search the resource tree, filter by file type, and approve only the files that belong in your collection.
Build relative folders from the website structure instead of dropping every download into one flat directory.
How it works
Scan the current page, visually select a section, or choose individual links. Start narrow and increase depth only when needed.
Inspect file names, types, known sizes, source folders, and candidates that still need verification.
FolderFetch uses the browser download system with validation, deduplication, rate limits, retries, and task recovery.
Built for real website collections
The workflow is designed for research portals, policy libraries, technical documentation sites, procurement pages, and other websites where files are spread across navigation levels.
Collect PDFs, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, archives, and other supported file types in one reviewed task.
Limit the starting page, selected region, chosen links, and maximum depth. FolderFetch does not indiscriminately crawl the web.
Duplicate detection, safe file names, retries, validation, and resumable task state make larger collections easier to manage.
Generate a portable library.html file for browsing and searching the collection that remains on your computer.
What FolderFetch does—and does not do
FolderFetch works with pages and files your browser is legitimately allowed to access. It does not bypass sign-ins, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, robots controls, or technical restrictions. Dynamic viewers and protected downloads may require a different workflow or may not be supported.
