Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the FolderFetch website, browser extension, account features, and hosted services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

FolderFetch is currently operated by an independent creator during pre-launch development. Public operator details and the commercial effective date will be added before paid access opens.

The service

FolderFetch helps users discover, review, download, organize, and revisit documents from websites. Core collection data is stored locally. Optional account, entitlement, payment, support, and hosted AI features rely on online services.

Features and limits may change during pre-launch testing. We will not describe an unfinished feature as available for purchase.

Your responsibility for collected content

You may use FolderFetch only for content you are legally permitted to access, copy, and download. You are responsible for complying with copyright, database rights, contract terms, website rules, privacy obligations, and applicable law.

FolderFetch does not bypass sign-ins, CAPTCHAs, paywalls, access controls, or technical restrictions. You must not use it to evade those controls or to interfere with a website or other users.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. One person may not create repeated accounts to obtain additional one-time trials or evade limits.

An account restores identity and eligible purchases. It does not currently promise cloud backup or restoration of downloaded files, saved sources, local history, snapshots, or local libraries.

Plans and entitlements

• Free provides the published free limits. Guest and signed-in Free limits may differ.
• Plus is a USD $49 one-time purchase for the published durable local capabilities and included hosted AI allowance.
• Pro is USD $12 monthly or USD $99 annually and includes Plus capabilities while the subscription remains active.

Pro may be purchased without Plus. If Pro ends, a user who separately purchased Plus keeps Plus; otherwise the account returns to Free. Cancelling or refunding paid access does not delete files or libraries already created locally.

Plan limits, device allowances, and hosted AI usage are enforced by server-side entitlement records. A short offline grace period may temporarily preserve a recently verified entitlement, but it does not create or extend a purchase.

Billing and renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. The payment provider may calculate, collect, include, or add applicable taxes. You authorize the provider to charge the selected amount and renewal interval.

You can cancel future Pro renewal through the available billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for refund eligibility.

Hosted AI

Hosted AI allowances are measured in organization runs, not transferable cash value. Free trial runs are lifetime account allowances, Plus runs are cumulative, and Pro runs reset each billing month without rollover. Failed or duplicate requests should not consume allowance when the service can verify that no successful result was delivered.

AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. Review proposed organization before accepting it and keep appropriate backups of important local data.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Violate laws, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or website terms.
• Use the service for malware, spam, harassment, fraud, or unauthorized surveillance.
• Attempt to access another user's account, entitlement, device, or support data.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or evade service limits except where law expressly permits.
• Resell, share, or automate access in a way that exceeds the purchased plan or harms the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep free local scanning and safe download functions available even if an entitlement service is temporarily unreachable. Online features may still be interrupted by maintenance, provider outages, abuse prevention, or events outside our control.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will provide notice or a remedy required by applicable law.

Intellectual property

FolderFetch software, branding, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give us ownership of the documents you collect, and they do not give you rights to third-party content beyond the rights you already have.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate online access for material breach, fraud, security risk, payment reversal, or legal requirement. You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Provisions that logically survive termination—including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits—remain effective.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing downloads, AI output, storage capacity, permissions, and backups. We do not guarantee that every website or document format will be supported.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will identify the new effective date. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Use the Support page for questions. Public operator and contact details will be added before commercial launch.
